Digital skills
Oriented to bioinformatics and computational biology
- Genomic data hunter - Where is the data? Searching, fetching, and analyzing multi-omics datasets (TCGA, clinical trials, NCBI, HMF).
- Core background - Python, R, Bash, Nextflow, Snakemake, Conda, Docker, Git.
- Extensive usage of bioinformatics pipelines - Variant calling and interpretation, transcriptomics, epigenomics, CRISPr off-target.
- Multi-omics data analysis - Preprocessing, QC, batch effect correction, normalization, exploratory analysis, linear modeling, and multiple testing.
- High-performance computing - SLURM environments and Google Cloud.
- Moving to Deep Learning for genomics - Within the MOMENTUM program, I will apply DL approaches to analyze multi-omics data.
